Using Day With You
By downloading or using Day With You, you agree to these Terms of Use and the applicable Apple App Store terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app. The app is intended for personal, non-commercial use and requires a compatible iPhone running a supported version of iOS.
These terms supplement the Apple Standard End User License Agreement. Where Apple’s mandatory terms or applicable law conflict with these terms, those requirements control.
02 / License
A limited right to use the app
Subject to these terms, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use Day With You on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store usage rules. No ownership of the app, its code, designs, or included artwork is transferred to you.
03 / Your content
Your memories remain yours
You retain responsibility for the names, dates, text, photos, and other content you add. You confirm that you have the rights or permission needed to use that content. Do not use the app to store or share unlawful content or material that violates another person’s privacy, intellectual property, or other rights.
Day With You is a local-first tool, not a publishing or social-network service. The developer does not claim ownership of your relationship content.
04 / Backups
You control backup copies
You are responsible for creating, storing, protecting, and testing your .dwybackup files. A backup may contain sensitive text and photos. Keep it in a trusted location and avoid sharing it with anyone who should not see your content.
Import and merge tools are designed to help transfer content, but software, storage providers, files, and devices can fail. Keep an unchanged copy until you verify the imported result. The developer cannot recover local content that has been erased or lost when no usable backup exists.
05 / Purchases & ads
Free app, optional Remove Ads
The free version may display advertising. Day With You offers an optional, one-time, non-consumable Remove Ads in-app purchase. Price and availability are shown by the App Store before purchase. Apple processes payment, restoration, refunds, family-sharing eligibility, taxes, and regional availability under its rules.
A successfully verified Remove Ads entitlement disables Day With You’s banner and interstitial ad requests. The purchase does not remove unrelated content or advertising in other apps, websites, or Apple services.
06 / Acceptable use
Use the app lawfully
You may not attempt to reverse engineer the app except where applicable law expressly permits it, bypass purchase verification, interfere with the app or its services, redistribute proprietary assets, or use the app in a way that violates law or another person’s rights.
07 / Third parties
Apple, Google, and destinations you choose
The app relies on Apple platform services and may use Google Mobile Ads in the free version. If you export to iCloud Drive, another cloud provider, Mail, Messages, or another destination, that provider’s terms apply to the copy you send there. Day With You is not responsible for third-party services, availability, policies, or content.
08 / Availability
The app may change
Features may be updated, improved, restricted, or discontinued to maintain security, compatibility, legal compliance, or product quality. iOS controls some behaviors, including widget refresh timing, biometric authentication, file pickers, App Store transactions, and permissions.
09 / Disclaimers
Provided on an “as is” basis
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Day With You is provided without warranties of uninterrupted operation, error-free storage, compatibility with every future device or system version, or guaranteed recovery of any content. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or warranties that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10 / Limitation of liability
Reasonable limits
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses arising from use of the app, including loss of local content or backup files. Any mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
11 / Changes
Updates to these terms
These terms may be updated when features, providers, legal requirements, or business practices change. The effective date will be revised. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms where permitted by law.

Use the contact route published in the Day With You Support Center. Please do not send private backup files, photos, PINs, passwords, or payment information.
